If you are a student at The College of Charleston and not only love politics, but care about democracy and want to be involved in something that is truly exciting and cutting edge, we at The True Representation Movement (TRM) want you!

The mission of TRM is to promote in a concrete and actionable way the idea that a Congressman should vote on every piece of legislation the way the people they represent want them to vote. 

We call this Swarm Democracy.

We have a candidate, Joe Oddo, who is running for office in the 6th District of South Carolina with that mission, and we have a fully functional digital platform that enables swarms to deliberate and vote on bills, and in that way dictate to the Congressman exactly how they should vote.

We are looking for students to set up a presence for TRM and to recruit students to join the South Carolina Democracy Swarm.
